1000 Books Before Kindergarten

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless. Read 1,000 books with your little learner before kindergarten. It’s a fun way to help Grow Your Reader with a practice that is proven to build early literacy - exposing your child to lots of books! Log reading and earn badges all along the way.

Participate and keep track of your reading online!

Enter your reading on the website or download the free Beanstack app to keep track of your child's progress from your Apple or Android mobile device. The 1000 Books Challenge will appear as a registration option in Beanstack for every reader between the ages of 0 and 5.

On the Beanstack landing page, sign up for Summer Challenge and/or 1000 Books Before Kindergarten today!

Our Grow Your Reader initiative encourages parents and caregivers to play, sing, write, talk, and READ with kids to help them get ready for reading success.
