Yahoo Finance
This is a free site that provides access to professional-level research tools such as interactive charts, quotes, industry analysis and intraday stock screeners, as well as market news and commentary. Follow these steps to obtain the historical stock price: 

  • Type the ticker symbol into the "Quote Lookup"
  • When the stock page appears click on "Historical Prices" under "Summary."


Morningstar provides insightful information on stocks, mutual funds, variable annuities, closed-end funds, and over 500 college savings plans. Follow these steps to obtain the historical stock price:

-Type the name of the company or stock symbol of the company in the search box on the right.

-On the bar menu below the company name click on “Performance” .

-Then select “Price History."

-Enter the date or dates that you’re looking for in the “Date Range” search box and hit the Enter key.

Motley Fool

This site strives to educate, amuse and enrich individual investors through its multimedia financial education company.

Treasury Direct

This site offers product information and research across the entire line of Treasury Securities, from Series EE Savings Bonds to Treasury Notes. The new TreasuryDirect accounts offer Treasury Bills, Notes, Bonds, Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS), and Series I and EE Savings Bonds in electronic form in one convenient account.

A source that provides information about various stocks. Included in the entry for each stock is a brief commentary, past performance, financial information about the company, current information about the stock's price, price-earnings ratio, and dividend yield. Also included are Value Line's Timeliness, Safety, and Technical Ratings.
