Purchases - Cooperative Programs

In accordance with RSMo 70.220 which encourages political subdivisions to cooperate with each other, with other states, the United States and private persons, firms, associations r corporations, for the planning development, construction, acquisition or operation of any public improvement of facility or common service allowed by law, it shall be the policy of the St. Charles City-County Library District to enter into contracts or agreements to cooperatively purchase supplies or services.

In doing so, the District may utilize State cooperative purchasing contracts, GSA schedules or similar functions from any city, county, library district, school district, school or special district or consortium, or to allow other political subdivisions to utilize the purchasing function of the Library District.
