Ready to Read
The Library provides Early Literacy Kits to various organizations in St. Charles County that serve children ages 0-5 through our Ready to Read program. These kits provide children and their caregivers with information about literacy and the Library as well as three books for the child to take home with the goal to help the youngest members of our community grow into lifelong learners. Ready to Read is funded in part by our Library Foundation.  To find out more about Ready to Read, contact us below.
The Storybook Walk

The Storybook Walk provides a new outdoor adventure that champions family connection, early childhood development, and health and wellness.

Stories are hand-picked by library staff with a child’s enjoyment in mind. Pages are posted at several stations along a trail, allowing families and friends to enjoy a story as they walk the path and take in the scenery. New stories are featured frequently so that the fun continues year-round. Take a walk with us and read a new story each month! Click here for a list of all our locations and list of books today!
