The St. Charles City-County Library District offers a separate collection that features the work of local authors. This collection is housed at the Middendorf-Kredell Branch, or you can browse and reserve a title online.

The Local History and Genealogy Special Collection offers resources to assist with researching your family history and history of St. Charles County. Located at the Kathryn Linnemann Branch Library, this collection includes access to information and staff assistance and consultation.

Government Docs & Information
As a Federal Depository Library, we provide local, no-fee access to Government information in an impartial environment with professional assistance housed at the Middendorf-Kredell Branch Library.
The collection features documents representing every branch and agency of the federal government in a wide variety of formats: topographical maps, dvd's, books, pamphlets, instructional kits, cd-roms, posters, and even a few educational puzzles!
